FINAL TOUCH JEWELRY Deceptive practices to employ representative's and take their money Dallas Texas

In March I was contacted by Gary Rike who is the owner of Final Touch Jewelry in Dallas, Texas. He needed a reprsentative in Phoenix,Arizona and I was moving there in May 2008. He told me his company had been in business for forty years and his reps were making six figures in his organization. He also told me he had over 200 accounts and needed someone to call on those accounts. In April I flew to Dallas, Tx and meet with. He explained again that I would need to purchase samples to show to potential customers. He said I needed to purchase $2,000.00 to $3,000.00 of samples and he would mail then to me because they needed to be special made. I considered him honest as he had a nive office in the Dallas Wholesale Convention . I gave him a check for $2,000.00 and waited for him to mail me the samples.

When I received the samples the quality of fine jewely was cheap. The total amount couldn't have been worth more then $500.00. I felt ripped off but decided to call on the accounts as he provided.

He assured me before I made the trip to Dallas that his reps had been calling on these accounts for years and were making six figures.

However, when I started to make contact with the accounts on the list I found out only six knew anything about Final Touch Jewelry. All the other accounts were non existant. I traveled to the addresses of many accounts to find out for myself and they were not at the address listed so I asked around and no one knew of that business.

I was so angry that I contacted Gary and his manager and asked for a refund. He said there would be no refund as he put into a contract that the accounts may or may not have been served in the last five years, in fine print.

So basically I am stuck with $2,000.00 out of my pocket and his jewelry crap. He is an unethical business man and I would suggest no one do business with him or his company.
