Financial Filing and Reporting Goldman, Lauder and Cross (fictitious name) Fraudulent and unprofessional Coral Springs Florida

I got a call from this company identifying themselves as "Goldman Lauder and Cross." It's a fictitious name for Financial Filing and Reporting. The agent (Kathy) said that civil charges were about to be filed with my county court for a payday loan I supposedly had taken out. She had the name of the company incorrect.

When I asked her for a breakdown of the charges and the contact information for the original creditor, she couldn't give an answer. "They just give us the amount they want," she said. I also asked for written verification of the debt. That's where it went downhill.

Kathy claimed that because I had given her enough personal information that matched what they had on file, the debt was already verified. Basically, I was out of luck. She also gave me an account number and total owed. I received an email the next morning with the details. First, the amount was wrong. Second, the creditor definitely didn't match. Third, I called back and just gave the ID number, and it was for a totally different person.

I did have an existing payday loan that I was still paying back, so I contacted that company. They had not forwarded my information to Goldman Lauder and Cross, said they never did business under the name on the so-called claim. 

I finally got an email from Goldman, Lauder and Cross saying they will send me verification of the debt in writing. I have since paid back the loan to the original creditor.
