I signed up for Financial Solutions Consumer Center's (FSCC) program to help me get out of debt. Apparently I was hiring an attorney to settle the debts, but at NO POINT did I ever have contact with an attorney. I was told that if I had a problem, I instead would have to talk to customer service reps -- who did nothing for me. The whole thing seemed pretty shady. After a short period of time, I decided to cancel their services, as I felt it was a scam. They did nothing to help convince me otherwise that they would actually settle my debts - nor could I find any information online that they actually got ANYONE out of debt. Therefore I canceled their services after paying an initial $700 at that point. Silly me to even sign up. Upon asking for a refund of this money, since no services were rendered, I was denied a refund. Actually, I called and wrote letters over and over and over again, and each time no one would respond to me. I even went so far as to hire my own attorney to get my money back, and Financial Solutions Consumer Center (FSCC) refused to even talk to MY attorney! If that's not a scam and a rip off, I don't know what is! I did some investigation, and according to this website http://www.debtconsolidationcare.com/creditors-information/financial-solutions.html, two of the executives of the company are convicted felons. I'm not surprised.
So here's what I've learned: RUN AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! I can only imagine how many people they have been victimized and ripped off before and after me. They claim to have an "A" rating with the BBB, but something tells me it is a phony BBB. They claim to have helped THOUSANDS of people get out of debt. Then why has nothing positive been written about them by ANYONE on the entire Internet?!! Surely THOUSANDS of people would've raved about this company if they were so great... or realistically even 10 people??Hopefully this company will get shut down by the authorities. I am out a lot of money, but hopefully you'll learn from my mistake. The moral of the story is not to do business with Financial Solutions Consumer Center.
Mark Bradley- Convicted felon for check fraud
Greg Goldsholl- Convicted felon for beating up a woman
James Bryan- Just served 2 years in prison for putting a woman in the hospital with a cracked skull.
Just the type I would want handling my finances!!!!
Their philosophy is very clear...get the deal at any cost.
Beware of this company

Some very astute statements...

BBB gave QUICKEN LOANS, the place which woke me up to how
big companies scam the middle class, in my case for a $500 deposit BEFORE they
would give me the necessary paperwork, a better than perfect score! And I have
found that this problem is systemic with most BIG financial and mortgage
companies today. They have little interest in helping middle class people survive
the financial crash that they created, and make huge fees in which they then
use to pay the BBB for their stellar ratings. Quicken Loans, as an example, has
an A+ rating though it defrauds almost everyone they contact with a deposit
they claim one can have returned. NOT! So please consider reporting your experience to this government watchdog agency:

BBB will sell a phoney "accreditation" to anyone...and I do mean ANYONE...who wants to pay the price! The BBB is EXACTLY LIKE a place which sells phoney college degrees. Anyone, and I do mean ANYONE can BUY a BBB membership. Like I said earlier, anyone can BUY a BBB "accreditation". The BBB is a SCAM...the BBB is part of the problem...the BBB is in business to SELL these phoney "accreditations" to anyone!

Federal Trade Commission and Debt Settlement

Based on recent laws and regulations passed by the Federal Trade Commission in regards to the Debt Settlement Industry, you may have a leg to stand on. Depending on when you signed your "contract" for services and if you completed the entire "sales process" over the phone or in IN PERSON, you could be easily entitled to a FULL REFUND. My suggestion is very simple, go to www.ftc.gov and file a consumer complaint againt this company, then email a copy of the FTC complaint to the Debt Settlement Company in question. As a veteran of the Debt Settlement Industry that embraces the new regulations placed on my industry, with your help (and any others that have been the victim of these horrible businesses) we can rid the Debt Settlement Industry of these "BAD" companies that give the good ones, a bad rapp.
I wish you all the best - good luck. I hope this proves to be useful!!
