FINGERHUT is digging up the past on old charge off. rip off scam con artists ST. Cloud Minnesota

I have a similar story, 16 years ago I had some charge offs and Finger Hut was one of them. It was on my credit report for 7 years, well after this amount of time it was not reported anymore. However, just recently, I received a letter from a collection agency in Phoenix, AZ saying that they are representing Finger Hut and now are requesting the amount that was charged off be paid in full.

So now Finger Hut/ Axsys National Bank are digging up the past and going after any old charge off. Im in shock, is this legal?

Im not sure what to do at this time, but since going on the Internet and discoving this web site I feel better knowing that Im not alone. They are the Enrons of the world. They need to be brought down!
