I've been fighting for 8 1/2 long years and still doing so. Ordered cookies pan sets 1996,paid for it when billed arrived. 5 months later they charge me $206, never stated why or for what. Called and fought w/reps who said that it needed to be paid said it was sent and that i was responsible.
Did not paid, wrote complaints thought it was settled. 1998 collection harrasments started explained to collection, didn't want to hear it. Called fingerhut nice rep who did investigation; found out i never ordered anything else & that it was never deliver, but was being charge.
I wrote more complaints w/new info thought it was settled. 2000-present SOB's are still harrasing me,i don't have any copies of anything thinking it was over. Worse my credit report shows collection/charge off w/bal.good 1997 bad 1998, as years pass info changes good 2000 bad 2001. Worried if this will ever come out of my credit report
