Firestone Complete Auto Care Complete Rewards Gold Deceitful advertising-not complimentary as promised, Internet

For spending a certain amount of money I was provided with a complete rewards gold card that offers emergency road side assistance.  When I called the customer service to number to see if getting my battery jumped would be free they said yes.  I called the emergency number and found that they charge your credit card $59 and you can can apply for reiumbursement up to $50 by calling another number and sending paper work and then you can receive the money in 6-8 weeks. 

If you need something other than a jump or flat tire changed you are not covered and will be responsible for the bill and any additional charges.  I am willing to bet you would have trouble getting the reimbursement.  A more honest approach would be to say we are offering tire change or jump for $9.99.   Leaves a  bad taste in my mouth for the company.

Other experiences I have had with Firestone-

Bought a lifetime wheel alignment and although I had wear on inside of tires insisted my wheel alignment was fine and it was because I had driven with underinflated tire on one side.  A day later I had a flat because there was a nail in my tire that had caused it to be underinflated.  Had to go back to get repaired-also had hazard warranty on tires I bought from them.  My tire has continued to wear on the inside. Also, 2 months ago they replaced my alternator and told me my battery was fine.  Today I have a dead battery.
