First American Consulting Group THEY GUARANTEED NO LESS THAN 5000.00 ONCE THE GRANT WAS APPROVED THEN RIPPED ME OFF FOR 298.00, CHANGED THE PHONE NUMBER SO THAT NO ONE CAN CALL THEM! Champlain, NY, New York

I sent First American Consulting Group a check in the amount of 298.00 back on January 19, 2007 for a grant package. I then received the booklet weeks later to fill out, which I did, and mailed it back in the envelope they requested, priority mail. I was told by Ann, a rep that I would be hearing from them within a few weeks. A few day later, I received that same questionnaire again as if I had never received one before.

IF APPPROVED, I WILL RECEIVE NO LESS THAN 5000.00.
IF NOT APPROVED, I WILL BE REFUNDED ALL MONEY EXCEPT FEES ABOUT 25.00 FOR PACKET S&H PACKET WILL BE SHIPPED 10-15 DAYS AFTER CHECK CLEARS. CALL CUSTOMER SERVICE NUMBER AT LEAST 2 DAYS PRIOR TO JAN 15, 2007 IF FUNDS WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE.

I tried to call them that week and phone number had been disconnected. At first, I thought it was a mistake, however, I tried it over and over again and made sure I was dialing correctly and it was disconnected. That made me a bit nervous. I mailed them another letter in April of 2007 and have been searching for a way to get in touch since that time. I came across your site this morning in hopes that it is not too late to get some justice. I am not sure if it is too late.

I would like to hear from you guys very soon with some kind of follow up to to see if you can find out anything regarding this duo, Ann or David, the 'Grant writers.
