I too was ripped off by this company around Mid May of this year - I was so excited to finally be getting a credit card, and my heart just sank when I found this website. I had a feeling that the offer might have been too good to be true, but I guess I fooled myself into believing that I really would recieve a $2000 credit card for the $260 I sent in to these people.

After all, they did use the names "Visa" and "Mastercard" when they called me (interesting little fact - these people contacted me only a couple days after I had applied for a Mastercard online & was rejected, which makes me wonder if Mastercard knows about these frauds and is selling our information? I can't think of how else First Approval got my work phone number?)

Anyways, when I realized this was a scam, and couldn't get ahold of anyone at the "customer service" number I was given, I went IMMEDIATELY to my bank (it was already about 45 days after they had withdrawn my money) I filed an "unauthorized clearing house transaction" RIGHT AWAY, and within 1 week the money was back in my account!! Please, everybody must do this because First Approval WILL NOT fight this claim!!! They know they are a fraud and they WON'T want your banks lawyers to get involved.

All you do is go to your bank, ask to fill out the form, write a brief statement in which you put that this was an unauthorized transaction (which IT IS, because you ONLY authorized them to withdraw money in exchange for a credit card, which you NEVER recieve, making this transaction completely unauthorized). Now, I'm not sure what you would have to do if you sent these people a check, but I know this works if you had the money automatically withdrawn & it hasn't been over 60 days.

So go to your banks right away, and don't forget to close your bank account to keep these people from selling your bank information to others & stealing more of your money!! I hope this helps....
