I was first contacted in November 2003 by a representative on the phone. They led me to believe I would recieve a credit card with a limit up to $5,000.00 in 6 weeks. I had to pay them $299.00 up front to get the process started. Did that.
Contacted them in January 2004 to find out when the card might arrive. Was asked if I received a package with materials that needed to be sent in with more money ($54.00 money order). After receiving the package, I followed the necessary steps and complied by sending another application with the money order attached to World Wide Card Network.
The address said to send it to Processing Center 13176 N. Dale Mabry #205 Tampa, FL 33618. About 3 weeks later I recieved the money order back with an explanation they didn't do the processing and to send it to World Wide Card Network 500 S. Kings Hwy Cherry Hill, NJ 08034. Did that immediately. Its now the 24th of June 2004 and still no credit card in sight.
Spoke with numerous reps such as Dan McIntyre and Mike Johnson. Even spoke with a so-called supervisor with the name Eric Fischer and someone with administration named Preston Langley. They all assured they were doing everything possible to get my card to me by patronizing and always reiterating this would be resolved and to be more patient.
Today the phone # (866) 731-3456 had a message stating they were closed for the day - it's Thursday at 10:00 Central Time! Honesty and trust are two items this company doesn't care about. Hope this helps everyone not to be scammed by this company which doesn't have reputable practices.

The Telemarketer provided a wrong address initially: Refund is on its way

The telemarketer sent out letters with our application, telling the consumer to mail the form and the check for $54.00 to an address in Florida. Then, realizing that they could not process the orders, they sent the orders back, instructing the consumer to mail it to the Cherry Hill address.
WWCN is not responsible for the missteps of other companies or individuals.
Michael, if you want your money back, it will be sent to you on Monday or Tuesday of this week.
As stated previously, WWCN has a 100% return guarantee.
I located your contact information, and will call you Monday to confirm.
Just to reiterate, since you stated it in your last post --- this is NOT a credit card. This is a stored value debit card MasterCard(R) card.
I will speak to you on Monday.

Most of the statements that Evan has said are true and they aren't affiliated with First Atlantic Savings, but to have me send a money order for $54.00 first to Tampa, FL and then being told it was the wrong destination just adds to the confusion of ever seeing a credit card or your money back. Why didn't World Wide Card Network ever think about contacting me since I am the client and deserve an explanation or attempt to return the money. They just hope you go away quietly. I just want my money returned! You do have my address I presume?

World Wide Card Network: None of the Individuals Mentioned are Associated with WWCN

...and, one other thing. None of the individuals mentioned in Michael's posting are associated with World Wide Card Netowork. Those individuals, along with the phone numbers, have nothing to do with WWCN, and are likely from the telemarketing company that sold the package to Michael.

I am corporate counsel for World Wide Card Network (WWCN).
The $299 that Michael paid was sent to a company that sells benefit packages. That company included WWCN's offer in its package. WWCN receives NO compensation from that company to be in its package, nor does WWCN share in any revenue from the money that Michael sent to that other company.
WWCN's offer very explicitly stated in writing that it was for a stored value debit card MasterCard(r) Card, and NOT a credit card.
However, the company, in its telemarketing approach, apparently told Michael that he was going to get a credit card. WWCN NEVER authorized that representation. WWCN does not offer credit cards. It can't. WWCN is not a bank nor does it have any associations with any entities that offer credit cards.
While Michael may have wanted and needed a credit card, and while he may have believed that he was getting a credit card from WWCN, if he had read WWCN's offer form, he would have realized that the $54.00 that he sent in to WWCN was for a stored value debit card MasterCard(r) Card.
Michael also has not contacted WWCN directly, but has chosen to post this incorrect information on the internet.
I will find out where Michael's card order is, and I will get it to him immediately.
In the alternative, WWCN will give him a full refund of the $54.00 paid.
WWCN guarantees 100% refund of any monies paid to WWCN if the consumer is dissatisfied with the card upon receipt of it.
