I was contacted by First Avenue Lending Group stating i was approved for a 5000 loan. They requested the first five months payment up front. My contact person was Jason Benson. He assured me if i sent the funds through moneygram i would be guaranteed the funds would be wired to my bank account.
The next day i contacted the company and they said there was a problem. They said they needed an additional 1000 dollars for insurance. I was then referred to Scott Harper. I did not agree to these terms and requested my money back.
He said i could only receive 64% of the 798 i gave them. I have not been able to get in touch with Mr. Benson or Mr.Harper. They will not return my calls. This is my official complaint

Unless you live in a cave, how could you possibly not know about this scam??? It has been all over the news and internet for years. Right now someone in Canada is having a good laugh because yet another American fell for this! Very expensive lesson, but dont ever ever ever pay money up front for a loan!
