First Capial Consumers aka US Guardian ripoff consumer fraud Toronto Ontario

I was trying to get a credit card over the internet a few months ago. This girl calls me and her name was Melanie from First Capital. She said I was appoved for a total of $4500, one Visa and one MasterCard Credit Cards. She told me about the one time fee. I told her that I wouldn't have the money until July 20th, mind you, she called mid part of June. She said that is fine. I will be a hold on it until then. I said okay.

Come to find out, the bank calls and tells me that I overdraft in my checking account on. I said what, that is impossible! She told me that First Capital withdrew $199.00 out of my checking account. I told her to return it back. They aren't suppose to do it until after July 20th. So the bank did, that was June 25 when that happened. July 5, 2002 then 1st Capital Conftelepho, did it again. This time I didn't find out from the bank until July 23rd what happen. It was to late to return it.

So I called First Capital asked for Melanie, the girl respond, "she no longer works here". I told her what they did, she said that the packages were going out and I should receive it anyday. Since then, nothing has came in the mail.

I called today to this number (416)488-2548, finally after numerous trys to get a hold of a real life person. She (Natasha)said that I should recieve the package my Monday, August 19th. If I don't I should call back and tell them and then they will refund my money. Yea right!!!!

I have filed a complaint with the Maryland police dept. The detective's name is Ed Smith. If you would like to call him his number is 410-638-4524.

I hope that the government gets involved in this scamm, like they are getting involved with all the accounting problems with the major corporations (Enron, WorldCom, ImClone, etc...) This needs to stop and I hope that they get what they deserve.
