First Franklin Mortgage Hours before closing ripoff San Jose California

For a month I was told everything was good for closing on Friday at 9:30 am. Thursday at noon I recieved a call that First Franklin changed their mind on my 100% financing. They now required 5% down, plus all the closing costs. As a single mother with two kids that was not going to happen over night.

Their reasoning??? They could not find 6 comparable sales within a two mile radius. In such a small town at mine that would be almost impossible. We however could find 3 within two and a half. This was not good enough.

I have read several bad report on this company. Do NOT trust them. Or be leary hours before closing. My realtor and the new mortgage company I went with had never heard of such procedures.
