First Horizon Home Loan Corporation Be aware of morgage company rip off. Irving Texas

I have had a mortgage with First Horizson Home Loan Corporation for 5 years. 2.5 years ago they claimed I was negligent in my payments when in reality I was 3 months ahead. They had quit cashing my checks and then began returning them to me.

We went to court 3 times and somehow, I lost and ended up paying them over $4000 in order to prevent foreclosure on my home. The actual foreclosure process began before I even knew about it. I found out when I started getting calls from people either wanting to help me out of foreclosure or wanting to purchase my home.

On 14 Jan 06, I received another Notice of Assignment of Hearing where First Horizon claims I have missed 4 payments. Once again, I know it isn't true, but it looks like I am going to have to do this all over again. The last time this happened I tried contacting local and national news media to get some attention to this problem, but heard from no one. I plan on fighting harder this time.

I was glag to see I am not the only one who has had a problem with First Horizon. (Misery loves company.) When I was sending them automatic payments from my bank account they froze my account and would no longer accept payments. They refused to tell me why. Then I began sending checks by certified mail. I have not been a day late and they have been cashing my checks.
