April 22, 2007 First Line Reps solicited me in my home to install an alarm system I signed the contract and it was a done deal On April 22, 2008 exactly one year later, SAI/FSM Alarm Co.Reps solicited me again in my home, informed me that First Line had gone bankrupt, and my alarm was no longer being monitored they were chosen to take over the existing accounts of First Line customers. Believing there convincing story, I signed the contract, they never informed me they were going to check my credit once again. First Line equipment was removed and SAI equipment was put in all in one day. In May 2008, my checking account reflected two payments of $44.99 First Line & SAI were paid. I immediately became suspicious and cancelled the recurring charges with my local bank. I contacted a supervisor from SAI and informed them of the situation, he assured me that the matter would be taken care of , the current contract would be cancelled and that they would pick up ther equipment and return first line equipment, SAI disappeared. Additionally I contacted a former supervisor of First Line Alarm, I explained the current situation, he informed me that I in fact was involved in a alarm scam that involved several consumers in different states, and by having the first line sign in my front yard, I was a sitting duck when SAI Alarm came knocking. He felt remorse and informed me if I became involved in litigation that he would testify on my behalf, additionally he informed me of several websites that involved other consumers faced with the same situation such as my self. Recently, on July 13, 2008 I was contacted by Crenshaw and Associates, A legal firm hired by SAI for breach of contract /equipment totaling $5000. This firm is harrassing me and my boyfriend with rude phone calls. I have retained an attorney & contacted Fresno County DA to open an investigation, to expose and inform other consumers of my situation.

Do your home work before you spend

AUTHOR: Efrain - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, April 20, 2009

I was browsing the web page for my employer (FSM Alarms, Inc) and was utterly disturbed when I read the complaint above. FSM Alarms Inc, Is a Sacramento based Alarm Company in California. FSM has three branches (Walnut Creek, Fulleron and Sacramento) all in California, none in Utah. FSM Alarms, Inc is a registered trademark which is owned and used by my employer which is why I was so confused.

First, one should always investigate any one whom we plan to do long-term business with.

Second, one should always be aware of the regulatory agencies of whom we plan to do business with. In California, Alarm Companies are regulated by the Bureau of Security and Investigative Services, located at 400 "R" Street, suite 2001, Sacramento, CA 95814-6234

Third, one should always use common sense and read the fine print, "If it is too good to be true, its too good to be true"

Fourt, never accept what a sales person tells you at face value, they talk to people for a living.

Fifth, before you go pointing fingers, do your homework and find out who really took advantage of you so that you can report accurately and save others (that are not involved) time and greif.

In closing, I hope this is a lesson is one that you can remember and share with others so it does not repeat itself however, there are corrections required as FSM is a non-participant and to include them in this report would be slander.

update: crenshaw and associates are hardcore bill collecters, posing as attorneys. Fresno Co. DA informed me on july 16, 2008 that an on going federal indicments is in the the works against these companys by the attorney general has been filed....so maybe there is an end to all this madness.
