First Link Benefits ripoff Phone Number: 800-315-0356 Fax:Champlain New York

I first heard about First Link Benefits Around December 3, 2004. I was on line and looking for a Credit card that could possibly help rebuild my credit. This was the first time that I have ever put my telephone number on a web site for them to contact me. It only took them less then 8 hours to contact me regarding the card. The gentlemen that contacted me he went by the name of "Terry Mosley" he told me that every one is pre-approved for this Master Card and that I would be approved for a credit line of I believe it was $2,500.00 and that for the first 6 months I would only have a credit line of $500.00 and after that they would increase it based on my payment history. Terry Mosley then told me that I won a Gateway computer for signing up through there Internet and by paying the $354.90 I would receive the gateway computer for "free" along with my Master Card, so I did...unfortunately. Terry Mosley told me that I would not receive my card until the beginning of January, so I waited until the first week of January and I tried contacting them and I couldn't get through for the longest time. By the middle of the second week in January I did get ah old of them and they said that I should be receiving my package the next day, so I asked this "Vietnamese" speaking lady if she could give me the tracking number and she said they don't have those on hand. Thats when I started to realize that something did not sound right, because every company knows your tracking number.The next day the package did not come via USPS, UPS, FED EX or anything, however I got the package the next day from USPS and the only thing that was in the package was the "pre-approved application" for the First Links Master Card and their was suppose to be an actual card in there. Also there was some coupons for discounts at restaurants etc. Then the gateway computer came into play there was a booklet from Gateway about my "Free Computer" that they are saying that I have to pay $1,000.00 for or for all the options it was like $2,400.00 I did get very angry about this and I got right on the phone to First Link Benefits and again I could not get ah-old of them for 2 days and on the third day I did get ah old of them and it was the same "Vietnamese" lady (I really wish I could remember her name!) She told me that I had to fill the application out for the card and send it back into them and they would send me out the actual card within 10 business days (still no card). Them I got irate with her and started to confront her on the computer I told her that Terry Mosley said that I had "won" a free Gateway computer. She told me that I did not know what I was talking about that there are no free promotions for any computers that I have to pay for it. I told her that I wanted to hear the recorded conversation with myself and Terry Mosley and she put me on hold for about 5 minutes and came back on and just started playing it and I do remember my conversation with him well and allot of it was correct but every tie when I would ask about the computer it skipped like she deleted everything that i was asking regarding the computer. After that she came back on and again told me that I was wrong and right then and there I told her that this place is nothing but a scam & fraud that I wanted all my monies returned to me. She proceeded with " I'm sorry sir there are no refunds!" So I thought I had to deal with what I got and I waited the 10 business days and up to today and still no card, and First Link Benefits are the only people that have my Checking Account number and Routing number that I have never done business with ever before and mysteriously I'm have this money taken out of my checking account totaling 20 checks at $1,300.00 so far!

I really think its going to Link up with First Link Benefits after my Bank is done investigating and the Police department. (The Police Department has very high suspicion that it is First Link Benefits doing this, or they could possibly be selling my Checking & Routing number to people.)
