I received a "credit card" from First National Credit Services in Las Vegas today. I tried to call the number on the card to refuse the card since I don't need another credit card. I realized that this is not really a credit card but a purchasing card for their catalog orders with outrageous fees listed on the back. I don't know how they got my name since I have excellent credit and several paid off cards right now.
What bugs me is that there is not a contact number or customer service number to allow me to cancel this card. I have not sent them my account information, but I don't like them having even this much information since someone else could have gotten this and opened the account in my name. Does anyone know of a recourse against getting any further contact from this obviously fraudulent company?
