A male calling from 877-426-5514 after becoming frustrated with my non willingness to give up personal information to those I don't know or can't identify elected to engage in subtrafuge and advised that he had papers for X and if X didn't co-operate a warrant would be issued for my arrest. I asked his name and his voice and clarity got more and more ubscured to a point I couldn't tell if he was still on the line or if he got smart and hung up...

Don't give up any information to people like this. No matter how scary it might sound, if they can't give you enough time or information for you to evaluate the authenticiy of the call, it's probably bogus... As I suspect this one was.
