First Universal Corporation Biggest Online Tobacco RIP-OFF! tobacco, poor service, Tortola British Virgin Islands

Do NOT order cigarettes from any online company called First Universal Corporation, LTD. It also used to say that they do business under the name WORLDWIDE EXPRESS. I ordered 5 cartons of cigarettes at abot 18 dollars US on January 2nd, 2002 and never received them.

I emailed them constantly asking where they were, they kept saying that they are in a Miami Customs Facility. Well it has been over a year now and I never got them. Their customer service is a joke. For the first few months i got stupid replies that didn't help me one bit, and then after a while I just stopped getting replies.

I did some research and found that the company is based in Tortola, which is in the British Virgin Islands, and I have heard about many scams coming from there. The problem with the British Virgin Islands is that they can scam US Customers and are not bound by our laws, therefore there is nothing we can do about it. Hopefully people will read this and be sure to check who the company is before they order from them.

The other thing about this company is that they say they are based in Panama. They have several websites, and some of them are .pa, meaning panama. This is their cover I am assuming. they are from BVI and therefore, seeing that immediately made me think of a phone call scam that I heard originating from there. We need to stop these companies from scamming us, so spread the word!
