Firstenberg Machinery Co Inc Fraud! Cashed check and didn't deliver equipment even after 2 months Richmond California

I have had the same kind of experience that has been reported by other users with regard to this joke of a company, which is giving all other used equipment vendors a bad name.

I ordered a $7000 tank from them in June 2013. Their sales person Ryan Collins was my primary contact during the sale and aggressively pursued the sale (3 emails per day, 2-3 calls per day). As soon as the check was cashed, I didn't hear anything from him for 2 weeks. All my emails requesting updates went unanswered. After threatening to escalate the matter to my company's legal team, he got back to me and asked me to deal directly with Andrew Fistenberg, the purported owner. Andrew has been giving me the run around for weeks now, with the usual list of BS excuses that he's given everybody else apparently - his sales person is sick, the vendor hasn't been co-operative, the site manager of the company is out etc. I have finally tired of this and referred this matter to my company's legal department. 

My company is planning on initiating legal action against this fraud in order to try to recoup our payment. In the meantime, please heed the advice of all the other people on this forum and avoid doing business of any sort with this company. They will entice you with the good pricing, but that doesn't matter if the goods are never delivered.
