RIP OFF! I'm being charged $189 for going to this gym ONE time!!

I am taking this case to small claims court.

They rush you through the 'sign up' process and quickly 'scroll' through the contract and tell you they will email the contract so you don't get to see it first!

I chose this gym back in March partly because they promised 'Unlimited free tanning.' After I signed up, I got to the gym to find out that tanning was not yet available. The hot tub/spa also listed with the membership was broken also. I asked the manager if I should cancel the membership but was pleaded with not to and I was told they would be there 'SOON.' So I believed in them and did not cancel. I called and stopped by every week and finally initiated the cancellation process three weeks later because the gym did not provide what it promised. Three months later, still no tanning beds. I cancelled my membership but I'm still being billed. The local management is friendly but the corporate office will NOT empower them to resolve the situation. They are shady CROOKS!!!

Fitness Evolution has BREACHED the contract, not me! Fitness Evolution promised unlimited tanning and daily guest passes. The hot tub is also broken. Now you can only bring the same guest eight times in a month - this was changed AFTER I signed up! Fitness Evolution is false advertising. Fitness Evolution is LYING to customers about its services. 

 The corporate office HIDES behind email and doesn't care about customer service. Buyer Beware!
