DO NOT RECOMMEND! The owner, Jon Bettencourt, works with his son, Justin Burke, and another boy. I contracted them to put in flooring. On day 1, (11.30.17) they arrived 35 minutes late and left 10 minutes later to go to Home Depot to pick up a different delivery cart to bring the materials upstairs to my condo (UNPREPARED) and returned at 10am. On 12.1.17, they arrived at 9am and left at 9:30 am Jon stated he forgot that he had to do an estimate at a mansion.
They returned at 12:28pm and left at 3pm. 12.4.17, arrived at 10:05am (was supposed to be at my unit at 8am). During that visit, he stated there was not enough flooring. He did the measuring so I purchased an additional box based on his measurements (Incompetent). These are just a few of the incidents. I notified Jon that he left a hole behind a door that he needs to finish. He stated he needs to order a strip for the area leading in to the closet and it will arrive in 2 weeks.
Today is 3.16.18 and I have not heard from him. They never cleaned up after themselves until the final day. I had to sweep up debris daily during this process. They DO NOT commit to any project and will leave the job incomplete. WORSE EXPERIENCE EVER. If you want good, quality work, DON'T USE FIVE STAR HANDYMAN, Jon Bettencourt, owner!
