Five Star Pool Professionals, Inc. 8818 Falcon Trace, Jacksonville, FL 32244 and 55 Britney Lane, Palm Coast, FL 32137 Bud Elliott, Owner / Installer Gail Terry, Robert Terry Negligent and improper installation of an inground pool vinyl liner according to Statues 558.04 and Pool Industry Standards Fernandina Beach FL Florida

Problem:  

Five Star Pool installed an inground pool liner. 

Notice of Construction Defects as required by 558.04 Florida Statutes.  The Pool liner was installed without proper prior preparation of the concrete shell.  The concrete shell and surface was not properly prepared leaving splatter with sharp edges and burrs that will ultimatley effect the integrity of the pool liner.  Upon information and belief, the concrete shell was not properly prepared for installation and the installation of the liner was not done in accordance with the manufacture's instructions and not in according with industry standards.

Bud Elliott, the owner of the company and his team of employees were negligent within installation of the vinyl liner and there only response was "that happens" when confronted.  A pool leak inspection company that we hired had confirmed the above. 

Example:  If a painter is hired to paint the walls, it's their responsibility to make sure the walls are smooth prior to painting.  Bud Elliott had the responsibility to make sure the shell of the pool was smooth prior to installing the pool vinyl liner according to the Florida Statutes 558.04 and the pool industry standards.
