WELL known JERRY DYAS per his own admission to the ST PETE TIMES is a 25 year plus MEMBER of the CHURCH of SCIENTOLOGY and top executive with FLEETMATICS. I worked for this company and there were WHISPERS of this company being connected to the CHURCH. Ira Friedman a closer at Fleetmatics is a past member & possible current member. Just google monies paid to the Church and who paid. You will find hundreds of names and the money they "donated"
If any employee didn't like the way they operated they could leave, or be fired.
Was Fleetmaticss using the same PRACTICES of the CHURCH to get NON- SUSPECTING business owners to divulge personal information/credit card/ach information maybe to use for recruitment purposes?
It has been reported to numerous authorities this company RECORDED CALLS WITHOUT THE CONSENT of the business owners. WHY? What was FLEETMATICS GOING TO DO - OR HAS DONE WITH THIS INFORMATION???
All the employees working there NEVER disclosed the call was RECORDED, not even during the on line demos with the closers when the closers took CREDIT CARD/ACH and personal information about the company.
FLEETMATICS liken to the CHURCH of SCIENTOLOGY(as evidenced by former CHURCH members reporting abusive behavior to the media) used CONTROL. POWER. DECEPTION and the use of 'plastic"- credit cards to close the deal in full. Just like the CHURCH acknowledged once again to the St Pete times Credit cards sealed the deal MUCH QUICKER.
This could all be hearsay, but seems coincidental that FLEETMATICS like the church with all its power and money could record these call without disclosure then COVER UP the crime. WHAT IS NOT hearsay the CALLS WERE RECORDED and AUTHORITIES are investigating.
Investors gave 68 million $ to FLEETMATICS. Thats a lot of money to IGNORE THE LAW. RECORDING CALLS IN FL without DISCLOSING IS ILLEGAL IN FL.

Welcome to the Brevard Extraditions, Inc. et al
v.
Fleetmatics USA, LLC, et al Website
A settlement has been reached in a class action alleging that Fleetmatics recorded telephone calls with customers without giving notification that the call may be recorded or monitored and/or obtaining consent to such recording or monitoring.
Fleetmatics denies liability and disputes all allegations and claims set forth in Plaintiffs’ Complaint. However, the parties have nonetheless negotiated a settlement of this action in order to avoid the burden, expense, and uncertainty of further litigation. Further, the parties, after a thorough investigation of the facts and applicable law concerning all claims and defenses, have agreed that the proposed Settlement is in the best interest of all members of the putative Class (“Class Members”) and that the proposed Settlement is fair, reasonable, and adequate.
You may be eligible for a payment of money from the Benefit Amount set aside for members of the Class if you were an individual or business residing in Florida who spoke by telephone with representatives from Fleetmatics’ Florida office, and were not provided with notice that your call may be recorded or monitored.
Please be sure to review the Notice to fully understand your rights.
The Court appointed Ewusiak & Roberts, P.A. (Safety Harbor, FL), Law Offices of Scott E. Schutzman (Santa Ana, CA), and Dogali Law Group, P.A. (Tampa, FL) to represent you and other Class members as “Class Counsel”.

Don't Assume this is an Ex-Employee Post?

Hey "Really?" Don't assume this is a "disgruntled ex-employee". It isn't. It is much bigger than that. I have a career. It's professional & doesn't require me to lie, break the law or be humiliated on a daily basis by sexist thugs. So...be careful what you assume... Any ex-employee is happy to leave this company in the rear view mirror.
