A friend of mine introduced me to Florida Enterprises which, she received through a fax send to her job location at a N.Y.C.P.D. precinct. As a matter of fact I still have the fax advertisement in my possession.
The advertisement read Orlando Bahamas Cruise 4 days/3 nights in Orlando, FL. 3 days/2 nights in Cocoa Beach & Bonus Bahamas Cruise 4 days/3 nights Retail-$1900. All 3 for only 199.00 per person-double occupancy required.
I purchased my vacation package in April 2004 and received my purchase May 10,2004. My friend then backout from doing the vacation package with me, so I was left to find another person to accompany me on this trip. When finding someone was hopeless I decided to transfer the vacation package. After like five or six messages and three letters to Florida Enterprises, which at the time I was starting to think I was ripoff they finally got in touch with me.
I asked them what did I have to do in order to transfer my package to another family. Their response was to just have the person or persons who are doing the vacation fill the back of the voucher and send it to them. The family whom I was going to transfer the vacation to changed their minds, so I was once again stuck with the vacation package.
When my package was about to expire another friend of mine asked me to extend the vacation and she would go with me. So like two months before the experation date I wrote a letter and also called Florida Enterprises and left varies messages before they got back to me. Once again they were quick to take my money to extend the vacation package that from the looks of it I'll never make.
All together the package has cost me $552.00 and no one to go with because my other friend also backout of the vacation. Recently I was going to transfer the vacation package again and the couple had questions about the package so again I call Florida Enterprises just to find out that all their phone numbers are disconnected even the fax. So I start looking for Florida Enterprises in the internet and this is what I find that my gut feeling was right all along I have been ripoff big time.
