Dear friend, I believe I know who you are and offer my deepest sympathies to you and your family. My family also lost a lot of money investing in real estate with Floyd Calhoun upon the collapse of the real estate market. Our families are not the only ones to have been financially hurt by the collapse of the real estate market here in Minnesota. Thousands of families have suffered foreclosure and devastating financial loss here in the Twin Cities and nationally. I rather doubt you can lay the entire local and national real estate debacle at the feet of one relatively small real estate and Development Company. I have known Floyd Calhoun and his family for a good number of years. In fact, I believe we share many of the same business associates and friends. Floyd Calhoun has had a documented record of success, building many wonderful custom homes. For that very reason you and I made the choice to believe and invest in Floyd Calhoun companies. Is Floyd perfect? Did he make mistakes? Could he or should he have foreseen the real estate collapse? Only God can judge as he will judge our actions in the way we respond to lifes calamities that befall us. The reality my dear friend is that both you and I made a calculated and fully informed risk to invest in a notoriously high risk real estate industry. Dear friend, you will never be able to change the past or recover the investment you knowingly made with your families full consent. However, you can choose to change yourself, stop blaming everyone else including God, take responsibility for your choice and learn from the tuition you have paid so dearly. Dear friend, start this new year 2010 with a clean heart by forgiving yourself, asking forgiveness of your family and forgiving those who have harmed you. You can start on the road to emotional and spiritual healing and find peace and freedom from the cancer of revenge and vitriolic hatred you have spewed in this forum. Floyd Calhoun has moved to the Tampa Bay area of Florida.  Stay away from Floyd L. Calhoun.  Nothing about him has changed other than time zone and address.
