Our firm provides a host of different services for authors and publishers (e.g. editing, book cover design, book trailer production, promotional assistance, etc.), with years of experience and satisfied clients to our name. Floyd Miley (AKA Floyd D.A. Miley, Floyd D.A. Miley III) contacted our firm in March 2016 with an inquiry regarding editing for his manuscript, entitled "Recognize Your Greatness". After we completed a sample edit to his satisfaction and a mutually agreed upon price was set, he commissioned our firm to edit his entire manuscript, which we completed within 3 days.

When we contacted Mr. Miley to inform him that his editing project was complete and collect the funds due for the work performed, he refused to have any further communication with us. We reached out to him two more times over the next week regarding the matter, respectfully requesting payment for our completed editing services, to no avail. 

Two weeks later, Mr. Miley contacted a partner firm of ours (he was apparently unaware that we collaborate with them), requesting the same services he'd previously commissioned us to complete, for which he never paid us. Thankfully, our partner firm was aware of his previous efforts to defraud us and refused to work with him.

In light of Mr. Miley's actions, we're posting this report/alert to help prevent other individuals and organizations from being victimized by his schemes. Beware of any requests or promises made by this individual.
