I had my pool installed 3 years ago by Foley Custom Pools. About a year later my patio started forming rust spots. I called to set up service. No one came out to inspect the patio. I called again to set up another appt. A gentleman showed up and dove in my pool to remove a small rust spot in my pool but didn't address the patio rust spots what so ever. I called again and said what about my patio rust spots? They said oh, we will have someone stop out. No one has showed up in a year and a half and I'm at a loss for words as to the lack of service from this company. I just called them again today and now they are attacking me saying I'm combative and I need to pay up front for services rendered.

I mean these guys are a joke. Of late as well these rust spots are now coming through my pepple tech. which is an upgrade from plaster. The sales rep by the name of Rick Morton is very unproffesional and won't answer any questions and practically taunted me. Fortunately the lady who recommended us to them works for the city of Mckinney, and we have let her know of the lack of service from this company and she will not recommend them anymore. I know she gets asked a lot about what pool companies to go with and she won't recommend these guys anymore. Of course I get asked who to use as well and I won't recommend these guys to anyone. The service department for Foley

custom pools is a joke so don't go with these guys mark my word you will regret it.

#1 REBUTTAL Owner of company

Rebuttal to deck warranty issue, Plano Texas

AUTHOR: Ryan - (United States of America)

POSTED: Wednesday, November 09, 2011

Pool construction was complete in August of 2007. The customer called on June 6, 2009 almost two years later about rust spots in the pool and deck. We informed the customer that there is a general warranty for quality and workmanship of one year on stone and concrete work.

The rust spots in the plaster was covered under the seven year pebble tec warranty. The customer was informed that stains in decking are not covered under warranty, because there are endless possibilities of things that can cause rust, i.e. fertilizers, metal chairs, kids toys, etc.

Rick Morton with Foley Pools came out and looked at the spots and told the customer we could not cover this under warranty. We did tell him the concrete company could come out and try and remove the spots, but it would be an out of pocket expense.

Obviously the customer was not happy with stains not being covered under warranty. We apologized that we could not cover the deck issue under warranty but would help him get it done as cost effectively as possible.
