Motorcycle had to be rebuilt twice. First Harley shop didn't do it right & the engine
blew up in less than 300 miles of riding it. Took it to another Harley dealership. Folsom Harley Davidson stated to us that Oakland Harley Davidson didn't repair the motorcycle properly thus causing damage to
the piston. Folsom HD has taken over $6,000 worth of money from us for new parts & has kept the bike for about 3 months or longer fixing it. My husband brought parts home & the bike didn't run. We had it
towed to Folsom HD & was told at the cost of another $180 or labor that it was only a wire not grounded properly. Nick, the clerk said that the bike was in running order now. Told us about putting on new tires,
throttle cables (which were ordered yesterday) & new tires. Nick stated the bike was running. The bike lasted for 8 miles then died & now it doesn't work again. Every time we take it to the Harley shop, it costs more money & nothing works on it. As a woman they refuse to talk to me about what it needs done & I don't like to be discriminated against because I am a woman & have been riding motorcycles longer than some of these guys have been alive. We have $9,000 tied up into repairs on this bike & it still doesn't run. We have complained to the managers of both shops & no one wants to take responsibility for their actions. But they do want our money.  They replied to the BBB when I complained about their service, stating I hung up on them. H**l yeah I did. The clerk called me a f__king liar over speakerphone & they were all laughing about it as well. I supposedly was talking to the Store manager Glen, the service manager, Bryan & the clerk Nick. So I was told. They lied to the BBB about the work they performed on the bike.

It's not the same

You bought factory parts but the dealer did the assembly.  With the MoCo program, the dealer sends your engine back to the factory, they rebuild it and you get a full mfg warranty for 1 year.  You should have given Oakland a chance to make it right instead of running to Folsom. Sucks that you are having problems though.  Tons of good engine builders here in CA.

Factory Warranty

I did buy the manufacturer part with a factory warranty. That's why I'm suing. They refused to honor their own warranty.

You could have bought a factory remanufactured motor for $3,300 with a warranty.  A little knowledge goes a long way before spending at the dealers.
