In January of 2007 I purchased a brand new ford escape at the same time I purchased a scheduled maintenance package for $995.00 that was supposed to run from 1-4-07 to 1-4-11, but during a recent scheduled maintenance in late Feb or early March, I was informed that I only had one scheduled maintenance left because of how many oil changes I already received, had I known that it was this way I would not have purchased the plan, this is a RIP OFF of the gargantuan type, I have NO more faith in Ford Motor Company what so ever!

Nothing was explained to me about how the package worked

AUTHOR: James - (USA)

POSTED: Monday, May 17, 2010
As I stated before, NO one explained to me how this worked and there was NOTHING in the paperwork to this effect, additionally I  ONLY brought the vehicle in according to the sticker that was placed in the upper left corner of the windshield, I have better things to do than complain about something that was supposedly legitimate! Bottom line is I was very, very, satisfied with Ford Motor Company and their products before I was essentially ripped off, I was prepared to purchase another Ford Product, but now I will tell all of my Union Brothers to stay away from Fords and if they still purchase one I will advise them of the tricky scheduled maintenance package,

Thank You for your response and have a good day

Check yor paperwork

AUTHOR: Imdone - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, May 17, 2010

when you purchase a contract like this you are purchasing a limited number of services, not unlimited maintenence. Check your paperwork and it should have a maintenance interval, for your vehicle it should be 7500 miles, and an expiration mileage. Three people should have been able to catch this, 1 the finance guy that sold this should have been clear and upfront with the overall mileage and schedule. 2nd your service advisor should have noticed you were ahead of schedule or close to using up the contract. Finally it is important to understand what you have purchased and the terms of the contract
