Ford Motor Ripped Off for $675.00 because all Ford models come with plastic Manafolds Ripoff Dearborn Michigan

Show customers why they should trust your business over your competitors...
I just had my card Ford Mustang GT)in the shop for a cracked Manafold. It cost me $675.00 to replace the manafold because Ford puts Plastic Manafolds on their cars at the factory.
There was no recall for this even though they reported the problem.
They suggest to replace with their new manafold which has a Aluminum front, where the plastic ones crack.
When they found out about this happening they should have, or should now, issue a recall on this plastic manafold.
My repair shop told me this was their best price for replacing it, if I went to a Ford dealership for service it would cost me over $1000.00.

Ford replaces them with aluminum

I know this will only throw salt on the wound, but here goes. The replacement manifold from Ford uses the aluminum water crossover, not plastic. This means the factory can put the good one on when they manufacture the car. they don't because most people will go back to the dealership and have it replaced for $1000 or better. Pretty sweet deal for the dealership and the factory. The $675 is a good price. The list on that manifold is about $400 and calls for 3-5 hours labor.
