ForeverGlam Phone company charges , Internet

We discovered recently that someone had "slammed" our home phone bill using our address and phone number but a different name and email address. Apparently, someone signed up for the ForeverGlam email and web service without someone notifying us or asking our permission. This "company" had been billing us for $15.00 per month for the last year and because we did not have the 3rd party block on our phone, it is perfectly legal.

After discovering the issue, we contacted the company and found out who they were. We then contacted the phone company and had the block put on to prevent this from happening again. If you do not ask, they will not put it on. Next, we recieved an email from the company regarding when this happened and all of the information their company had about our account. The name and email was ficticious as far as we could find. We contacted their customer service phone number and gave them information from the phone bill and they were able to refund the money from this month and last month. We were then directed to send them our other bills via email or snail mail for the last six months and they would refund that, but that was as far as they would go.

It was at this point that I lost my temper and informed the company representative that I would personally hunt them down and report them to the Better Business Bureau, North Carolina Attorney General and start a smear campaign against their very souls on every social media platform that I could find.

This could happen to you. Check your mobile phone and land based phone bills to make sure that you have not been "slammed". Whether you have or not, have the miscellaneous or 3rd Party block put on your phone so that this cannot happen to you. Then call their toll-free phone number and do everything you can to get your money back. When that doesn't work, because it won't, get involved and help put these predatory "businesses" out of business.
