Fort Knox Security Services AVOID! They have lied to me and they have refused to cancel services. Also, they might steal personal information. Dallas Texas

This company contacted me by phone after I filled out an online request for more information. I was contacted by phone and informed a technician could visit my home the next day to see if my existing equipment was compatable. I requested service only not new equipment so I would not be stuck in a 3 year contract. I was told by the technician all my equipment was compatable and I just needed a new cellular unit specific for their company. I signed his work order and he left taking all documents with him. I was not left with any copy of a contract, cancellation policy, or even contact information in case there was a problem with my system. 

I was informed 4 business days later that I needed to move for work and it was unexpected. The next day I contacted Fort Knox through their online contact us form since I had no contact information, and I requested they cancel my service immediatly. They told me I only had 3 days to change my mind and that I am now locked into a 3 year contract with them and I cannot get out. 

They broke the law by not providing this information at the time of service, but they will not release me from the contract. Furthermore they are trying to blame me for the incompetence of their technician saying I must have lost the papers as they are always provided. I did not get anything from the technician!! They refuse to provide me with alternatives or any way to resolve this dispute. 

In addition my SS# and DL# was used with my name in a city near Dallas that I have never heard of before to activate electricity for a trailer on a trailer park. This was a case of identity theft that I caught because I have a credit monitoring service in place. Fort Know was the last company I provided this information to and suddenly it is used without my consent 2 weeks after the inaller took this information down and left without providing any information. When I brought this to the attention of Fort Knox they told me that "this accusation is nothing short of reckless" and they cautioned me against bringing this sort of accusation against their company. I just expressed a concern as it is very fishy that my personal information is used without my consent a mere week after I report that I want to cancel service with them and that I never recieved copies of any contracts or paperwork. 

I would never trust this company with the security of my family and my home after the way they have been treating me. I would hate to think of the customer service they would provide if the system started malfunctioning. You could probably get robbed blind and they would blame ou for not resetting some aspect of their alarm system that is stated in an obscure section of instructions never provided to you.
