My daughter is enrolled in Fortis College (Tampa, Fl campus) She took out over $14000 in student loans to attend the basic X-ray tech program. This program was suppossed to have both classroom and clinical hours. Clinical hours are required in order to take the state x-ray tech licensing test. When she completed her classroom hours they kept delaying the students with excuses about clinicals. To date, my daughter has not had any clinical scheduled by this college. They simply told her "they would call her" when something was set up. In the meantime she is sitting home, can't apply for a job because she is waiting for a clinical schedule. No one at the school will return our calls. We don't know what to do.

Your daughter may be able to get some relief from her student loans of the school breached their contract (to provide clinical training). Go the Department of Education website (www.ed.gov), look for the info on student loan repayment, and that should give you some points of contact for help as well.
