I want to make this perfectly clear that this complaint is against Forza Restoration and not MAC Contracting.

I signed a contract on 9-10-2014 with MAC Contracting to replace my weather damaged roof. The work had not been started by MAC  Contracting as of May 2015. In May of 2015, I recieved a letter from Forza Restoration Group stating "As of May, 2015 Mac Contracting's Ohio operation will be aquired by Forza Restoration Group Inc.". It went on to state " If you currently have a contract with Mac Contracting or have had a contract with Mac Contracting in the past, this transition will be seamless, as all contracts and warranties, past and present, will be fully honored by Forza Restoration." In my contract with Mac Contracting, a clause states " If I choose to terminate this agreement after three business days I agree to pay an administration fee in the amount of fifteen percent of the total value of an insurance claim related to damages identified herein." I contacted Forza and stated via email that I would like a refund and agreed to pay the fifteen percent administration fee. Brett McClafferty, Senior Vice President, of Forza Restoration emailed me back and stated he would send me a release form. I signed and email the form to Mr. Mcclafferty, Senior Vice President, of Forza for a refund.

That was in the begining of May, 2015. I have not heard from them since. I filled a complaint with the BBB. During the dialogue with the BBB a representative from Forza stated that my complaint was with Mac Contracting not Forza. The BBB agreed that my complaint is with Mac Contracting and not with Forza. That is why it is not on Forza's BBB report. I have learned from my mistake in how I word a complaint and now I state my complant is with Forza for not honoring the letter they sent me, the emails they sent me, and not honoring the contract they stated they would honor from Mac Contracting. Do your homework if you deal with Forza. Look at the same names associated with Mac Contracting and Forza Restoration. Read the BBB's report on Mac Contracting. Watch Channel 6 on your side's reports about Brett McClafferty and Mac Construction. Yes, that Brett McClafferty who's email signature is Senior Vice president of Forza that emailed me stating I would recieve a refund.
