I was hit by a minor driver. Who's first comment was "thanks for being so nice, the guy I hit last month was mean and yelled at me". In any case, since it was an accident and my car was in-operable I could not use AAA acording to the highway patrol and had to use a towing service. Four Corners towing showed up, asked for the keys and said I could pick it up in Santa Maria when I got the accident report. Well..... Since it's a two hour round trip to Santa Maria I called and called and called for almost two weeks. Not open on the weekends when I'm off work. So after almost two weeks of answering service, answering machines and no calls back I finally get a hold of some one in Santa Maria. No record of my car being there. So, I finally find it in Grover Beach and its 1600.00 to get it back. The car was maybe worth 800.00. The person I spoke to said they would call Ray Lopez (the owner) and ask for a break. I never even received a return call. I called one last time and they said. Oh, yeah Ray says the fees stand and we already started the lien process. I guess nice guys finish last. Well this nice guy wishes Ray Lopez and the sneaky tow truck driver pay more than their legal car theivery ever gained them. Fortunately for me I deal with the public every day and will be sure to let everyone know for the rest of my life Ray Lopez is a piece of s**t crook.

probably should have left well enough alone. Every single thing is documented and happened exactly as stated, you can file all the slander/libel suits you desire. It's all documented. A few months after the whole fiasco. Four corners turned it in to collection agency requesting thousands of dollars. So, they got a car from an 80.00. My car, which I said they can just keep a few weeks into it, they say "fine" and continue to rack up storage fees against me. Upon speaking to the collection agency, I told them what happened, that I would never pay. Post again crook and I will tell even more. Or maybe you can stop using your towing service to take cars and sell them.

To Anonymous person who made this complaint about my company, Four Corners Towing, it is unfortunate you feel like you had a bad and experience, I have been in business since 1978 and never had a deragotory complaint.
Firstly, I would like to clarify a few items in your statemnent, regarding the Highway patrol not allowing AAA to tow your car , that is inaccurate, they do not work that way, reagrding calls not answered, I have a very competent answering service that takes all calls 24 hours/7 days a week.
I take pride in being a honest businessman and would like you to call me at 805 9226707 to resolve this matter. I am hoping you are a legitimate complaint as opposed to unsavory local competition , if the latter, I will not hesitate to file a slander claim.
