Four Seasons Sunrooms of Knoxville beware of false warranty, poor installation, leaks, code violations, and fire hazards. Knoxville, Tennessee

I would advise prospective buyers to avoid this company.  We purchased a patio room from Four Seasons of Knoxville about five years ago.  The roof began to leak immediately (less than 2 weeks) after install, and we had water seeping in underneath the sliding glass door.  The owner, James Chrisman, sent his installers back out to add more caulking.  This did not address the problem at all.  The roof/door continued to leak.  After calling the company several times, Chrisman declared this was a drainage issue and, therefore, our problem. Three months after the install, the outlets and ceiling fan stopped working.  Mr. Christman refused to address these issues as well.  We eventually hired a roofer and certified electrician to examine the room.  The roof panels were (allegedly) not installed properly, which caused the leakage and the gutters were not attached correctly.  The wiring was not up to state code. The track for the panels/doors had actually been screwed through the electrical wiring in some places.  The only way to repair was to dismantle the enclosure.  Mr. Christman finally offered to repair for an additional charge, claiming that because we hired third party service providers to examine the work we negated any warranty we had through Four Seasons.  Of course, we did not re-hire Four Seasons but opted to pay other reputable providers out-of-pocket.  I did file a BBB claim against Four Seasons and notified Mr. Christman of my intent to do so.  He claimed he wasn't worried about a complaint and could have this removed. I don't know if this is true or not, but the complaint was never addressed, resolved nor did it appear in online listings.  Consequently, I lost all faith in the BBB and discount their ratings entirely. 

I'd be very hesitant before going with Four Seasons because they do not honor their warranties, do not install their products properly and you're not likely to have a usable space when the work is complete.  Go with a different company.
