In June 22, 2013 We received a revised tax amount from FTB's Collection of Tax we owed for $1,407.52. We then sent the Installment Agreement Request dated 4/15/13 and paid the following:
Payment #1-paid by check no. 112 in 4/15/13= $200.00 $200.00
Payment #2-paid by check no. 116 in 5/14/13= 200.00 400.00
Payment #3-paid by check no.123 in 6/15/13 = 200.00 600.00
Payment #4-paid by Electronic Debit 7/16/13 = 200.00 800.00
Payment #5-paid by Electronic Debit 8/16/13 = 200.00 1,000.00
Payment #6 paid by Electronic Debit 9/17/13 = 200.00 1,200.00
Payment #7 paid by Electronic Debit 10/16/13 = 200.00 1,400.00
Payment #8 paid by check no. 138 11/15/13 = 7.52 1,407.52
"THEY VERBALLY SAYS OVER THE PHONE THAT WE STILL OWED $ 607.00' and they won't
send a Black and White proof!!!
THE HARRASSMENT CALLS AND LETTERS CAUSES US A GREAT MENTAL ANGUISH THAT MY DOCTOR HAD PUT ME ON DISBAILITY FOR FIVE MONTHS AND AT THE SAME TIME I AM NOW SCHEDULED TO GO A FIVE WEEKS CHEMO THERAPY AND RADIATION TO START 1/29/14 THROUGH MARCH 18, 2014...I BELEIVED THIS CANCER WAS CAUSED BY THE HARRASSMENT AND TOO MUCH MENTAL ANGUISH!!! PLEASE HELP...ANY ATTORNEY CAN CALL ME AT; (((redacted)))

While I am sorry for your medical situation, trying to say that they caused your Cancer is sort of like claiming you broke your leg because someone disagreed with you at work over what time you should schedule a meeting.
It is very curious as to if you received this notice of additional tax due on June 22nd 2013...how did you send in the agreement and your first installment on April 15th...2 months BEFORE you even got this notice?
You can obviously see the date discrepency. But perhaps the answer is simple...if you take your date of June 22nd as the date you owe additional taxes of $1407.52 any payment BEFORE that date doesn't apply. So you then only have your payments of July through November for a total of 807.52. Which almost by magic(okay 4th grade math) comes out to an amount owed of $600. Now, since it is 3 months later there could be some differences due to additional interest/fees which account for this extra $7.
Why are these dates even more significant and can probably explain a lot. That is because if you truly did send in an installment agreement on April 15th, you already had taxes due and only you know what that amount was, and again that could also when you add everything together could account for this extra money.
The other thing you seem to be missing, did this agreement you send in state that they would waive all additional interest and penalty fees? Then we also only have the fact that you sent the agreement in, we don't have anything that says they accepted it.
