Had a zipper on a bustier put in by tailor at Frank & John's Cleaners. Wore the bustier approximately three (3) times after zipper was installed. How often can you wear a bustier with boning and very confining?

customer service or lack there of

Mr. Johnson, I very factually/objectively conveyed the events chronologically as they occurred...your response speaks volumes about the level of customer service (or lack there of) you are unable to project positively to the very community you are trying to service with your dry cleaning business...you take a very personal/unprofessional approach which is not surprising considering my non-existant interaction with you
point 1: a faulty repair was done at your store
point 2: you refused to communicate with me
point 3: you called me dishonest and refused to take steps to amend the situation....all for a minimal/ridiculous amount of money....
my responses to owner Mr. Johnson's rebuttal:
" The repairs were well before I bought the business and I work everyday." Not privy to when you bought the business..nor do i care...you are still flying the colors of the previous owner so that means you assume responsibility whether good or bad... and you were not present either the day i brought in the shirt or when i picked it up...maybe you are invisible
"She forgot to mention 1 1/2 years after the initial repairs were made is when she brings this "Bustier" back with these complaint" who cares? it was a faulty zipper and worn maybe 3 times...not a top worn on a regular basis......
"Never in the 1 year that I have owned the business have I ever seen her. I know all my customers, be it regulars or every once in a while customers." C'mon..right there your credibility is diminished..it is impossible to know all of your dry cleaning customers in a major metropolitian city..and both days i was conducting business (dropping off/picking up top required two different days while waiting for a phone call and you to confer on the big $12.00 decision....) you were no where to be found...lol
"
"I told her I would repair the zipper for 1/2 off, being that it was an issue my tailor did not created nor did I. "Contrary to the information she post that arrangement was not enough, she wanted it done free." ...I stated in the original post I initially felt it should be done gratis, but you refused...the info that you refused to give me any sort of compensation was conveyed to me via your clerk and NOT you since you dont seem to be present mentally/physically in your store ....no offer of half off was offered by your clerk (see original post: half off WAS acceptable to me) and definately not by you even though my number was left....you never followed up or this post would not exist..
Many other people in the monroeville area have had the same negative experience with the owner and his lack of customer service and have taken their business to direct competitors..

Number one. The repairs were well before I bought the business and I work everyday. She forgot to mention 1 1/2 years after the initial repairs were made is when she brings this "Bustier" back with these complaint She was very rude and argumentative not to mention unreasonable and threatened to post this on the internet. Never in the 1 year that I have owned the business have I ever seen her. I know all my customers, be it regulars or every once in a while customers. I told her I would repair the zipper for 1/2 off, being that it was an issue my tailor did not created nor did I. Contrary to the information she post that arrangement was not enough, she wanted it done free. A new customer told me about this post while searching for dry cleaners for pick up and delivery service and he decided to use my services anyway.
I am sorry about this unfortunate incident, but some people just cannot be pleased.

I frequent the cleaners in question and have come to know the clerks and the owner. This is friendly business, they call me by name and personally have never had a problem. I have trouser alterations done frequently and the owner Travis, who is not the tailor, measures me and my trousers always come back flawless. I had a zipper replaced in a jacket last spring and that also was flawless. It may be the way this whole thing was approached. I have had a great experience using this cleaners and would hope that this one incident would not deter others from using them. Sorry about your experience but i would not call them a rip off.
