Hello, Las Vegans and visitors. I am a person with complete knowledge of the methods with which Frank Lee, and Robert Romaine (manager) conduct business at the two "Frank Lee's" Meineke locations. These being at 1860 E. Serene ave. 89123, and 3840 Blue Diamond rd. 89139. Both of these locations in Las vegas, Nv. Frank Lee, in no more eloquent terms, is an absolute money grubber. he is not an automotive professional, but an investor. Robert Romaine is his, in no more eloquent terms, Frank's monkey-boy.
Frank grossly overcharges for his services, does not honor Meineke promotional coupons (he uses excuses to avoid doing so), and only honors Meineke nationwide warranties if many unnecessary add-on goods/services are purchased. These services include, but are not limited to, $99.95 brake fluid flushes (the fluid costs less than $5.00, and should take less than 1/2 hour to perform service), unnecessary brake hardware kits, and Oxygen Sensors with catalytic Converter replacements. There is also no reason to charge more for exhaust labor than mechanical labor, other than extra profit. Check out Frank Lee's "shop supplies" charge, too!
Robert Romaine is where the inaccurate diagnostics, and bold-faced lies come in. He is an underpaid cheat! In the case of Sharon/Barbara Dewees, Their mint condition, 1988 Buick was running rough. Robert Romaine diagnosed a split fuel line (a $200.00 repair, as the fuel tank had to be removed to access the line) as a failing Fuel Pump. An $800.00 repair. This fact was brought to the attention of Robert Romaine, who did not pass the information, or the savings, on to the Dewees'. Two days later the replaced Fuel Pump did indeed fail, stranding the 84 year old Barbara Dewees on a local freeway in 100+ degree temperatures. In total, 3 follow up vistis were made by the Dewees' before a working Fuel Pump was installed.
In the case of the Tran family's 2010, Lexus IS-250. This was a case of misdiagnosis that was beyond the capability of Frank Lee's meineke to handle from the begining. This car suffered frame damage in a colision , and was grossly out of alignment. Robetr Romaine charged the Tran family $900.00 for the repairs. Romaine did not install the parts sold (a lower control arm and a tie rod end that were parts exclusive to the Lexus manufacturer). "Good enough" alignment adjustments were made, and the car was sent on it's way. These arwe only two examples of what will happen to Females, and the Elderly at Frank Lee's Meineke. I wish, so badly, that I could include my name and a contact, but Ripoff Report requests not to do so.

This is robert romaine and the story you see is untrue by jim he is a exemployee that was steeling from the company and has a arrest records in las vegas ,such a shame for a exmarine, and has no pride and would lower him self to include people that are not involved, and put on a stand or lie detector,would not be able. To back his story. Simply a cry from jim (the wolf him self ) . so jim can justify his lies him self.

In response to my report on Frank Lee's Meineke, in Las Vegas Nv. I have received an Email from the franchise department at Meineke headquarters. Now, and for many days, now, I am in a phone-tag game with "Hilda" and "Conchita". I do feel that their function is to protect Frank Lee in situations like this one. Frank has 2 $1,000,000/year stores. Meineke headquarters likes that. Well Meineke, like this....Frank Lee routinely pays labor vendors, ie. Machine Shops, Key/Computer programers, etc. in cash. Frank Lee then requests that customers pay in cash (on handwritten receipt) in order to avoid paying to Meineke their franchise fees. That is your $1,000,000/year golden boy!
Frank Lee is no babe-in-the-woods. He is fully aware of the workings of Robert Romaine, as well. Frank Lee has a reputation of being a good Christian shop owner. I've seen this guy sin. Believe you me, he is no Christian. Christian meaning, in the original Greek, Christ-like. Shop owners like Frank Lee will continue to conduct business-as-usual, if customers continue to fund him. The aforementioned report can be found on that site that sounds like a "crying dog"......, and that "list" run by that girl. I will be painting the internet with Frank Lee's practices, as shop owners like Frank Lee continue to give our business (Auto Repair) a bad name.
