Frederick Law Group, LLC Took Money From My Mom and Never contacted her again Frederick Maryland

My mother signed up with Richard Brennan Law Group as a credit consolidation in or about august of 2006. Asfar as she new everything was going good. They were taking the money from her account as agreed. Then my mother became ill she had several strokes and I was helping to handle her business. When I Questioned her about some of her creditors ,she eventually was able to remember that these creditors were part of the consolidation settelment.

So when I contacted Brennan and associates they told me that Yes the amounts taken from my mothers account were correct and they wetre able tosay that the monies being collected now would be going directly toward making settlements with the creditors and everything was fine.I told them we had been recieving info from the creditors they had me to send them the info saying that they wouldcontact them.

Next thing I new they said everything had been turned Over to Frederick Law Group LLC. They had us to contact the bank where the funds were and they sent us a check for approx. $1200.00 deposit it to my mothers checking account and send them a check for the amount to re-deposit into the bank they would be using to continue depositing the funds from my mother,s checking account monthly.The amount was 518.00 monthly. since she was already into this so far she did as they said hoping they would eventually negotiate settlments with these creditors which was how it was supposed to work orignally.

The next Time we tried to contact Frederick Law Group we liked to never got thru and when we did no one could tell us whatwas going on they would have some get back to us etc. Then the phone #s started coming up as disconnected etc. My mother put a stop payment on their monthly payment hoping they would then contact us they NEVER did We don't know where her money is all that she paid in but they didn't pay the creditors and we haven't heard from them What can We DO. now the same old creditors are wanting there money. Please if some one can help let us know.
