Free Credit Nation's website is not clear on what you are getting when you sign up. They have difficult rules to follow in order not to be charged a monthly fee of $29.95. My 3 day trial membership ended on a Saturday and I was not clearly informed that I would be charged a monthly rate of $29.95.
When I saw the pending charge on my credit card, I tried to get my refund unsuccessfully. They are not available by telephone on Saturdays. The website specifically states NOT to contact them by email to cancel an account, that those emails will be ignored.
I called first thing Monday morning and was told that because I did not send an email anyway, I was not eligible for a refund. After multiple calls to the company requesting to speak to a supervisor, I'm angry.
They hang up on me when I ask for a supervisor for help. When I call, I get the same person, a female by the name of Taylor. She is also the one who responded to my email when I sent one.
Please do not use this company, they are a scam!
