Linder's Furniture provided a Gift Certificate in the amount of $500.00 to be reimbursed at a rate of $25.00 per month provided I returned gas receipts of $100.00 a month to the Gas Redemption center.
Yep, the GRC got my "Processing Fee" as well.
I started in November , 2008.
I did get an initial response saying that the first receipts had been received and that all was well; however, there would be a slight delay in receiving the initial gas rebate.
I continued to send the receipts, but have got nothing from them.
I will not be taking my business to Linder's anymore.
I am willing to help stop these people from continuing to be free. It's not the processing fee. It is the potential of the scam continuing.
If you want to stop this kind of "come on" at businesses, just stop doing business with them and tell your friends. Businesses will get it.
