Freedom Financial Card & Financial Advisors, Inc I received a promotional call that said I could get a credit card like a VISA for only $300 Pinellas Park Florida

I received a promotional call from this company that indicated I could get a credit card that would fix my credit for a one time fee of $300.00 and that I could by whatever I wanted like a VISA with it. Never was it mentioned that it could only be used to shop on th Internet and that it was only to be used with their catalog.

In the month of May, 07 I gave my account number to them after making the decision that I wanted the card. I then received the package in the month of July that stated the use of the the card was limited to the Internet catalog. I checked it and I didn't like anything I saw and then called them back. I spoke to a John that indicated I would have to send in a letter via fax to 727-497-3042 and state I wanted to cancel to get my refund. We sent the letter and 6 weeks went by. I called just to follow up and they stated they received my letter but I failed to ask for my refund in the first place (lie) and that I had to re-submit it to the same number and wait another 6 weeks to get my refund. Here we are at the end of the month of Sept 07 with no money and I sent out a second letter (which I still have) stating that I wanted my money back. When I followed up this time, I got the excuse that they couldn't get a refund due to me signing a contract (when and where did I sign?) and that I would have a credit on the website.

I almost gave in to the thought until I saw that they make you pay one third of the price upfront before accepting your voucher and the shipping is almost always the same amount of dollars as the down payment. RIDICULOUS! I've had it! I lost $300.00 and for what? Nothing to show. Something needs to be done. I realized I wasn't the only one when I started researching for fraud articles from this company. Too bad I found out too late. This should be stopped and if a trial is given, count me in! I've got proof in my bank account papers and my faxed letter. Thanks! Wil
