I found the add listed in the Small Business Opportunities magezine, Nov 2004 issue, page 133, left side, "Home Mailers Wanted". I went to the advertised webpage, www.mailingprogram.com, and reviewed the information. The fee to get started was $19.95. For an additional $5.00 they would rush the order.

I purchased the package ($24.95) on 9/14/04 with the online ordering and used a credit card. The system told me the credit card transaction would appear as "PC Enterprises" on my statement and to expect to hear from them between 7 and 21 business days. If I had not heard from them by 4 weeks to contact them and they would check the status of my order. The credit card transaction lear on 9/16/04.

Right around 14 business days I sent them an email via their website asking for a status. Since I had paid for the rush, I expected the package sooner then 21 business days. I provided my name, phone number, and email address along with the transaction number for the credit card payment. I heard nothing.

On 10/12/04, 21 business days from my order (4 weeks) I sent them another email via their website with same contact information. I still have not heard anything. I attempted to contact the Small Bussiness Opportunities magezine. They are published by Harris Publications out of New York. I tried to contact Melissa Zinker (212-807-7100) in Advertising who would have taken to order from Freedom Marketing / PC Enterprises for the ad in the magezine. I was trying to get a contact name and phone number. I have not heard from her either.

Today, I started researching Pc Enterprises out of Powell, TN looking for a lead and I found my way to your site. I do not know how I go about getting my money back, I would appreciate any advice or direction on that matter. More importantly, if I can be of any assistance in stopping this type of scamming, please let me know.

Thank you for providing this forum.
