Freedom Pop Cell phone company signed me up for a low-cost service. I provided the phone. They jerked me around by added devices and service progerams in order for me to call. When I got tired of being run around (each time paying a fee) I told them to vlose account. They refused to unlock phone. They said I had to wait for 6 months. I did. Now I try to contact them on-line, phone, facebook, etc. and I can't. Internet

I signed my son up for Freedom Pop phone because it advertised as a low-cost alternative.  Thay said it was free cell and text for the basic.  I thought I would probably have to pay a low amount each month.  It took 3 months to get it set up, each time paying a fee.  Each step I discuss involved a fee.  The cell didn't work unless it was by a wifi so could not be taken out.  i increased the plan to get intgernet to use the phone.  After several changes, each costing money, I ended up with a premium plan.  Then, O got add-on charges.  It seems that the call and tgext are free but the modum to get these are a metered service, even when paying for a premium program each month.

I told Freedom Pop to cancel my account because they lied to me and to unlock my phone so i could go elsewhere.   They said I had to be on the program 6 months.  So I waited 6 months and then tried to contact them to unlock my phone.  I have not been ablr to reach them to unlock the phone.  I tried on-line and there was no place to do it and no phone number or email.I even tried going on thier facebook to leave a message

If you deal with them, you will constantly be asked to pay for each change, will not get what you are told because it is a scam.  You will probably not be able to recover your equipment.  And there will be no one to complain to.

However, they are very prompt at charging your card even when you quit.
