On 9/22/09 I applied for an online payday loan. On 9/28/09 my checking account was charged $49.95 from a company named Freedomcs. The check has a bogus signature and my SSN along with my email.

I don't even know what this is for. I applied for payday loan not to purchase a subscription for something I am not even aware of. On the check is phone number to freedomcs 877-807-4709. I called to find out what this is and all I was told is this is a subscription I agreed to when I applied for a payday loan.

I told them to cancel it ASAP and I was told I will receive a check in the mail by 10/29/09. If I didn't to call back. I have researched this company and the phone number and of course found all the bad experiences of many, many other people just like myself who have been scammed.

I called the 877 number again today and spoke with another lady named Erin and she told me they are a third party customer service center for Freedomcs. I then asked her for a direct phone number and address to Freedomcs and told me no direct phone number but the following address  PO Box 52080 Sparks, NV 89435. I then told her about all the people who have been scammed and the BBB complaints and my FTC complaint. She had no reply other than she is just a Customer Service Rep.

I went to the BBB and found 19 complaints all unresolved. The have the Sparks, NV address as an additional address. The Reno, NV address is no good. The BBB says all the mail is marked return to sender, Not deliverable as addressed, unable to forward.

They have got to be stopped. I will see if in fact I get a refund and any response from the FTC.
