I feel used. I am a believer in the Constitution and American Values, following the Tea Party Movement, I was mislead by this organization into believing they were the lead sponsor of the September 12, 2009 March in Washington when I learned that they are scarfing donations from the real organization http://grassfire.org and http://resistnet.com a real and rapidly growing grass roots organization who has been working for years to take America back and restore the constitution and the republic.
The Tea Party Movement is a new phenomena after the election of Barack OBama that instantly generated an influx of supporters of the growing grass roots movements. In the mean time http://Freedomsfirst.org saw an opportunity to siphon off attention and donations form people to try to operate side by side or in conjunction with or outside of the movement creating confusion and distrust of the movement in it's entirety because now they are threading to harm the grass roots movement by alleging that the true grassroots movement started years ago is growing in magnitude and size giving order to the chaos cause by this recent election and the instability cause by the disenchantment of 49% of the American electorate. They are not grass roots at all, they are scammers scamming people out of money! I regret that I was taken in by them. There are numerous rumors being circulated regarding Steve Domina of Freedomsfirst and his rally taking place the same day as ours on 9/12 in DC at the Lincoln Memorial Reflection Pool.
I admit I made the same mistake as many and when I came back from a long trip and read my emails with numerous people sending me these allegations I panicked and sent a inside communication to my State Directors and District Coordinators that the event/organization is a scam and to beware.
The Next day I received word that someone has posted this on facebook then someone else a disgruntled employee or assistant to Mr. Domina had taken that letter and posted it on a site called something like scam stoppers. I then wrote her/him and asked that they remove that info as it was intended only as an inside communication. They complied and removed the info and then the site was removed by a complaint someone else reported to NING.
I then wrote another email to the same leaders and retracted my earlier statement that was made in haste. I also told them that everyone in America is innocent until proven guilty. I informed them I made a mistake and also noted to them that the messages I send are only for inside communication! I told them where and when his event is and noted that it is a separate event and I believe there will be some crossover although his event is on the Constitution and ours on the Big Government Big Spending and taxation agenda.
I said that until such allegations have been proven or refuted that Mr. Domina is innocent.
Through David Jenest of Patriotwatch Steve Domina has provide more information and from what is being shown deserves an apology and our respect. Please assist me by putting to rest any claims or rumors you see on the net. For all we know this was started by some left wing liberal to try and hurt the cause. I believe we can turn back time and set the record straight. I am asking that you assist me with this. As many of you know there were people coming here several weeks prior to the letter I wrote and making these accusations and I banned them and removed such posts.
Again I apologize for putting out a communication to the leaders here in haste. Believe me I have learned my lesson.
