h
Web site offers FREE Kodak Digital Camera. I signed up with AOL, one of their sponsors. On that page it clearly says: "(Final Step - Sponsor Participation)." That page also says, "Complete a second offer from this page and get FREE* Printer Docking Station ($ 179.00 Value) when you redeem your Kodak Digital Camera!!" I did not choose that option.
The next page is entitled TOP OFFERS PAGE 2, with the idential instructions: "(Final Step - Sponsor Participation)" and "Congratulations! To qualify for your FREE* Kodak Digital Camera continue by fully completing** any of the top offers listed below!" This rather clearly gives the impression that there are other options in addition to the ones on the previous page. So I clicked NEXT.
They NOW tell me in their online status section (not the advertising Web site):
"Required Action Points: 6
Action Points Earned: 1
Action Points Needed: 5."
There is nothing about the need to earn 5 more "action points" on their Web site. It further states, "You will be awarded 1 action point for each unique offer you complete. Keep in mind that you may complete each offer only once. Remember that you need a total of 6 action points to get your free gift. You may reach your total of 6 action points through any combination of offer completions by you or your referrals." THIS IS FALSE AND MISLEADING ADVERTISING.
HERE IS THEIR REPLY:
1) Register with a valid email address and other demographic information;
2) Accumulate 3 action points, by completing one offer in EACH of "Top Offers" groups;
3) Complete and return our Redemption Request form that is available in the member area after you have earned the necessary action points.
You must earn at least one action point from EACH of the "Top Offers" groups to qualify for the free gift item for which you registered. You may complete an additional offer in any of the groups to secure your eligibility for a bonus gift item. Additionally, you can become eligible for a $25.00 gift card bonus by submitting at least three qualifying referrals to our refer-a-friend program. Please note that you must make your bonus gift selections on the Redemption Request form when it is originally submitted. Bonus gifts may only be redeemed at the same time as the original gift item for which you registered.
You may check your redemption status at anytime by signing in at the following website:

Being Taken Advantage of

I have already sent a response back but I am resending to make sure my voice is heard. I fell for the scam of free Kodak camera and continue and also recieve a free DVD player if I completed 1 of the following, fill out for a credit card which I did on first time got a BB gas card. The second time I filled out for Trimlife 5.95. It cleared my bank and I have not heard or received the info for free camera nor the 5.95 trim life. I want a refund and I want my free stuff that was offered to me . I do not appreicate the fact I have been taken advantage of . Very misleading. NO points were ever a part of the deal. It only stated that I would recieve this if I followed these steps. I did my part now I want them to do their part.I will make sure that this is taken to highest authority and this scam company is put out of business.

I did not recieve my free gifts
AUTHOR: Cynthia - (U.S.A.)

Yes, MY name is Cynthia Henry. I did a survey or answered question that said I would automatically win a free kodak digital camera and DVD player. I answered no to all of the suppose free offers. It stated I would have to answer to 1 to receive my gifts.
So I picked the trim diet plan called trimlife for 5.95. on July 26 2004. It was for a 7 day sample. It didnot provide any info for free camera only that I would recieve my trim package. I demand a refund and camera along w/ DVD player. This is very misleading and I plan to get to the bottom of this ! I have written to them twice w/ no response.

Total Ripoff
AUTHOR: CARLA - (U.S.A.)
SUBMITTED: Friday, July 23, 2004
I received an email for a free camcorder stating if I complete one of the offers from one on the sponsors on the website I will receive a confirmation email on where to send my free camcoder. I completed the offer, but no email was sent. It was a total waste of my time. I wish I would have found this email site before I completed the offer because I would have totally ignored it.
