freeze.com ripped me off. i didnt even notice at first. checked my bank statement and saw an ibill charge for 23.99 and wondered what it was, hadn't ordered anything. called ibill and they couldn't even find me or the card that they charged in the system . they charged me on may 10th 2006 for a yearly subscription that they claim i ordered on march 1, 2006 at midnight, in march i didn't even own a computer. ibill finally tracked the charge to freeze.com , i went to the site to see what it was i supposivly subscribed to and it is a screensaver site, a "free one" at that .
I tried emailing them with no response. i read the refund policy and it said that they would only refund within 10 days from the date of charge. i contacted ibill on may 13,2006 , and they assured me that the charge , whatever it was for would be refunded and they had cancelled whatever it was i was signed up and charged for. i asked how long before i would be refunded she said 10 to 14 days. after that i recieved an email from etelegate.com asking for credit card info , birthdates, addresses, ect., i had nothing to offer other than my email address.
They sent me a transaction number for the charge and i responded that i wanted a refund and that i never had ever even been to the site. i got the same email back about eight times , wanting my credit card number , birthday, and addresses. i called the only number available which was the ibill number on my bank statement about eight times, every time i got the email from etelegate. they kept on assuring me that the refund was being processed. on june the 15th , like thirty some days later i called because i had heard nothing from them and wanted to know when my refund was coming, the ibill operator looked up the "transaction" and asked if i wanted to cancel . i almost lost my mind. i explained that i had cancelled well over a month ago and was supposed to have gotten a refund. they couldn't find any info on a refund so she said she would contact etelegate.com which is obviosly the middle man in this and have them call me immediately. and guess what , no call , just an email stating that they are too busy to deal with me , they can only give sooo many refunds per day and if i cannot wait until they feel like giving me on then i should call my bank. i responded and asked what that meant, contact my bank and i still havent heard anything.
I emailed freeze.com and pleaded with them again and they sent me the same email that etelegate sent , they want my card info, bdate, and whatever else. cannot find a file or anything. i then sent them back the transaction number that etelegate.com had sent and now they will not contact me back. they are trying to not refund me because the refund policy is ten days. i asked for a refund within three days of the ten day policy , please don't ever do business with this company , they have found a way to steal from people and are obviously getting away with it.

Pam,
You only have 60 days per banking regulations to dispute the transaction. Do this right away, IN PERSON, and IN WRITING! Get someones name!
These people know this and are leading you along.
Do not trust them!
Good luck.
