Don't use FreightPros!  

Had to get 3 boxes to Florida from NY, and arranged for outgoing and return shipment through Freightpros 4 weeks in advance. Little did I know, they don't actually ship, but arrange shipment with existing carriers' unused cargo space, so they're basically a standby shipper. Since they don't actually ship your cargo, they don't have any power, ability, or incentive to make sure your shipment gets to where it needs to be on time, or even at all. 

Carrier didn't show 2 days straight to pick up our cargo, so I had to bypass Freightpros and call the carrier directly to ensure pickup. They finally picked up our cargo 5 days after it was scheduled for pick up. Then 2 days later the cargo is delivered to the pick up address and not the distination! We had to hire a different company to overnight our cargo to Florida, costing us almost $1,600. 

After it was all said and done, Freightpros would not refund the cost of the failed shipment to Florida, nor would they reimburse us the cost of the overnight shipment we had to schedule after thier failure. They took 2 weeks to 'research' what went wrong, but instead of providing insight into how their process broke down, they spent 20 minutes explaining how it's not thier fault and we're just SOL. 

When we suggested they split the cost of our overnight shipment with us, or refund the cost of the failed shipment to us, they laughed and said they feel real bad, but don't think they did anything wrong!

They bungled both sides of a shipment that ended up costing us 2.5 times their original quote. Worse yet, they accepted no responsibility.  Disgraceful!
